CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE 27th March 2020
You will have all heard the government’s announcement on 23rd March 2020 on the latest steps for us all to take to be able to try and slow and halt the spread of this terrible virus.
In light of this we have taken the sad decision to temporarily close the practice premises to be able to protect you, the community and our wonderful team here at Pendleburys.
We would like to reassure you though that we are still very much contactable, as one of our specialist optometrists will be on hand to continue to give you remote advice over the telephone or via email. Please contact us if you have any concerns or queries over this period and we will endeavour to respond to you within 24 to 48 hours.
Our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and our telephone number is 01622 758566 or 751122.
Contact Lenses– If you are a direct debit patient for contact lenses we aim for your supply to continue as normal and where possible change your supply to arrive at your home. Please contact us to arrange this or discuss your options. If you are due your contact lens after care appointment, this can temporarily be done by a remote contact lens review. For all other contact lens queries please contact us.
Routine appointments– Our national representative bodies have advised all routine appointments to be halted. If you are due a routine appointment we will be in contact with you as soon as normal service resumes.
If you have an urgent eyecare problem and we are not contactable please contact the NHS 111 service.
We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and, when the time is right we very much look forward to welcoming you back to the practice premises and our clinics.
Please do all stay save and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
Wishing you all the very best.
Rebecca Lewis and the team at Pendleburys
